Trazzler

Trazzler recommends trips — original, hand-picked, concise travel experiences — customized for your location and travel personality. Trazzler got started in 2007 when Adam Rugel, a veteran of the online travel industry from back in the glory days of AOL, and Bix Stone, a social media entrepreneur who likes to think creatively, had a chat over pistachio nuts in the original Twitter kitchen. Biz suggested a crazy idea involving "virtual teleportation." The first version of Trazzler was born as a Facebook application whipped up by Adam, Biz, and Dave Du Verle.  Based in part on the app, but also on their plans for a website. With funding, Trazzler was able to build the website.
